Responsibilities:
a. Care of Costumes: The Renter shall handle and care for the rented costumes with reasonable care and shall not use them in a manner that may cause damage.
b. Missing or Damaged Items: The Renter is responsible for the safekeeping of all costumes and accessories. The Renter shall be liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged items. The Company will assess the value of any missing or damaged items and the Renter agrees to reimburse the Company accordingly.
c. Alterations: The Renter shall not make any alterations, modifications, or repairs to the rented costumes without the prior written consent of the Company.
Holding Fee:
a. The Renter shall pay a holding fee of [Amount] to the Company at the time of rental. The holding fee will be returned to the Renter upon the safe and timely return of all rented costumes, less any deductions for missing or damaged items.
b. The holding fee will be refunded in the same form as it was received, within [Number of days] after the return of the costumes.
Late Returns:
a. If the rented costumes are not returned by the agreed-upon return date, the Renter shall be charged an additional fee for each day the costumes are not returned, unless prior arrangements have been made with the Company.
b. The additional fee for late returns shall be calculated at [Rate] per day and shall be deducted from the holding fee. If the holding fee is insufficient to cover the additional fee, the Renter shall be liable to pay the remaining balance.
